Pemaquid 4, oil on cradled birch panel, 4x4
Finally it's time for the Boothbay Region Art Foundation to open for the summer. I'm getting some prints, original 5x5 pastels, and 3 of these small oil paintings ready for the first show which opens on Wednesday, May 26. The grand opening reception is Friday, May 28 from 4-6PM. If you're in the area be sure to stop in.

I hope it is a big success--this is a nice little painting, I love the small paintings--they are like little gems

I got to visit Maine last year, and totally fell in love with the state. Your paintings filled me with the sense of beauty and serenity I felt the whole time I was there.
I am working on paintings from my visit, and will be showing them in September.
I sure hope to get back up there some day!

Welcome to the home page of my blog. This is where I post new work as well as updates on my artistic life.

You will find a complete portfolio of my work on my website: Kathleen Daughan Fine Art where paintings can also be purchased. Smaller paintings and jewelry are in my Etsy shop: www.kathleendaughan.etsy.com

I also have a brick and mortar gallery/studio in Nashua, N.H. in the Picker Building. Please email me for more information.
