Rhythm of the Marsh 3

Pastel on Wallis, 16x16 image, 22x22 in gold plein air frame

I had a very productive week. I painted Wednesday at Scarborough Marsh with a group of painter friends from Facebook. We had artists from New Jersey, Texas and Maine. What fun. It was a grey overcast day but at least no rain. This painting is much larger than I have been doing recently, so I was happy to get it finished and framed so quickly. It's off to the Art District Gallery on Tuesday. More information on Rhythm of the Marsh 3 on the Marsh paintings portfolio page. Link over at the right.

what a beautiful painting! I feel like I could walk into it. I love the design of it and the colors are excellent. Bravo!

I love this! My kind of scene. Similar to areas of CT where I'm originally from. I haven't been to Maine since a little kid, but seeing your work makes me want to visit again!
