Presumpscot River View

Pastel on paper, 9x12, Sold

It has finally stopped snowing here. Yesterday I drove out to the Audubon Center at Gilsland Farm to paint this scene in the snow. They don't use sand or salt at Gilsland and the snow was still clinging to the trees. Everything was very white compared to this warm sunny summer view of Gilsland. I am in the process of painting the snow scene and I'll be posting the painting when it is done. Meanwhile, this summer scene is available as a notecard and is in the Audubon assortment.
