East End Artists Open Studio Tour

Sunday May 18 be sure to check out the artists studio tour on Munjoy Hill, Portland, Maine. Studios will be marked by white, blue, and green balloons. I will be participating at the studio of Joan Jordon, 15C O'Brion St. The tour is free so stop by if you are in the area.

Morning, Scarborough Marsh

I've been going through my paintings getting ready for the upcoming shows and I noticed that this piece never got posted. This is a classic image (for me) of the Scarborough Marsh. I love painting there. The colors are always changing. This one was done early in the morning when the colors were very dramatic. The image is 8x8 and is framed in a gold plein air frame. Maine Women in the Arts Awards Show

The Maine Women in the Arts Awards Show is open this weekend at the River Tree Center for the Arts, 35 Western Ave (Rt9), Lower Village, Kennebunk, Maine. The reception is tonight from 5-7 and the show is open Fri 10-7, Sat 10-7, Sun 10-4. There are some fabulous pieces of art there. Stop in and take a look.
